ext-base.js: yui 2.2.0 + adapter
OS: Mac, Window
Browsers: Safari, Firefox (NOT IE)
I am experiencing weird behavior in both Safari and Firefox when I attempt to type an open paren "(" into a combobox. This occurs in both Mac OS and Windows versions of safari/firefox, but not in IE. The behavior is this: instead of typing the open paren into the combobox text field, it shows the dropdown div. If shift-9 (open paren key combo) is held down, the selection goes down through the dropdown list, reverting to the originally selected item once the keys are released. This is making testing combobox items with parentheses in them rather difficult.
